Foundation Fides is coordinating in 2024 a fundraiser for the acquisition of a house for the arrival of the Dominican Teachers of the Holy Name of Jesus, an institution of international reputation, who will teach at the Holy Family School.

Located on rue Turgeon in Lévis, the first cross was inaugurated and blessed by Father Édouard Fafard, parish priest of Saint-Joseph, in 1888. Christ was replaced in 1927, then in 1941. The two statues of Mary and John were removed at this time, being in an unsalvageable condition, and the cement gallery was poured to replace the original

The calvary was restored in 1977, then the cross was replaced again in 1981. The whole was repainted in 1986 and 2009. This calvary now requires maintenance, for which we will launch a campaign soon.
